2. WHO ARE WE?
“We” and “Us” is Katharine Secretan, trading as Irish Cottage Crafts.
For the purposes of data protection law, Irish Cottage Crafts will be the controller.

Online payments are accepted on our behalf by PayPal
In this case the financial transaction is handled entirely by them and we only receive sufficient information from them to verify who the payment has come from, typically an email address, the value of the transaction and a unique reference number. This number is logged against your order for auditing purposes.
Of course, we cannot guarantee the security of your home computer or the Internet, and any online communications (e.g. information provided by email or our website) are at the user’s own risk up to the point when they reach our servers.
8. STORAGE
Where we store information
Irish Cottage Crafts stores information in a secure online database.
How long we store information
We will only use and store information for so long as it is required for the purposes it was collected for. How long information will be stored for depends on the information in question and what it is being used for. We may also be required to store data to satisfy legal requirements, for financial audit purposes or to satisfy insurance requirements.
We continually review what information we hold and delete what is no longer required. We never store payment card information on paper.
